You are invited to the first Private Practice from the Inside Out Blog Carnival! Are you a blog carnival virgin? If so here’s what you need to know . . . .
All bloggers are invited to submit articles relevant to some aspect of the designated theme (see below). Links to the best of those submissions will then be posted on this blog on October 23, 2012.
After your submission, if you have receive notice that your article will be included in this carnival, you agree to publicize the blog carnival in the days leading up to the actual event in the following ways . . .
- on your blog,
- to your email list,
- via Twitter,
- via Pinterest,
- via LinkedIn,
- via Facebook, and
- via Google+ .
I will be doing the same. Then, on the day of the actual blog carnival, you will
- continue publicizing the event as noted above,
- include a post on your blog that links back to this blog carnival and
- drop in to comment as well.
You are encouraged to engage as much as you are able with commenters on your own and the other participant’s posts, too. It’s a great way to generate curious traffic back to your own website and support your colleagues’, too.
And, here’s what you need to know . . . .
What: All bloggers are invited to submit an article for the first PPIO Blog Carnival. The theme for this blog carnival is Creative Responses in Building a Private Practice. You may write on any aspect of this topic. Give your article a title and include your name and a link back to your post so readers will know where to find it and your blog.
Who: Regardless of who you are or what you do . . . mental health professional, coach, speech pathologist, physician, dentist, and anyone else who is knowledgeable about this subject matter is welcome to contribute. New and old voices welcome!
When: All submissions are to be sent to Tamara at TamaraSuttle dot com no later than Monday, October 15, 2012 at midnight. You will be notified that your submission has been received during the next week.

Kate, thanks for asking! For this first blog carnival anything goes! My posts typically run 500-700 words. However, I would consider a post longer or shorter as long as the content warrants it. I would love an opportunity for my readers to “meet” you via a submission for the carnival, Kate! The posts that I’ve gotten so far are looking really good. Hope you can join us!
