On Friday, Private Practice from the Inside Out
kicked off its fifth Annual Series! This year, we have participants representing body workers, attorneys, coaches, psychotherapists, and even professional nannies joining us!
Over the next nine months, participants will cover a wide range of topics on marketing and practice development . . . all geared to help them get and keep high quality clients.
If you were unable to join us this year, but would like to stay informed about opportunities for 2010, drop me a line to let me know that you are interested and I’ll put you on my tickler list!
Darla Adams says
Tamara, I’m a body worker – not a psychotherapist. Is this a series that can help me build my practice, too?
Tamara says
Hi, Darla! Yes, I think that Private Practice from the Inside Out Annual Serieshas much to offer body workers, chiropractors, physicians, dentists, and other health care workers.
I have had several body workers go through the Annual Series and have only received cudos. At last contact, they each were doing very well in building their clientele and referral bases. I think the reason that Private Practice from the Inside Out has been helpful to professionals other than psychotherapists is that the issues are very much the same . . . . We are providing nontangible products on a very intimate level.
It’s all about the relationships rather than just a simple product that we are passing along. While we may or may not work with a client long term, the truth is that if we are worth the fees that we are charging, then client thinks of us as being in a relationship with him / her for life! Massage therapist, energy worker, body worker, or psychotherapist . . . the relationship is still and always key.
